Hello French Quarter!!
What a long awaited and exciting day for us going out and do things!
Today was my first Outfit of the Day! I thought it appropriate to wear my harlequin print skirt.
Our RV park shuttled us into the French Quarter around noon. We walked down so many different streets and looked at so many funky shops. Deven, who is a genius, packed a backpack full of ice and beer to drink all day. We walked down burbon street which was very crazy busy but had a fun drunken energy. I was won over by a very expensive strawberry and peach Daquri.
We stopped for lunch at Café Beniet and enjoyed sitting outside and listening to jazz.
We saw our first parade at Canal St and Burbon st. We were second from the barrier for most of the parade and made friends with our neighbors.
We walked the streets a little more searching for food. I feel kind of ashamed to say we got Chinese food in New Orleans but it was cheap and fast and seemed like a great idea at the time.
We took an Uber back to the park. We walked and loved on Roddy and spent our evening exhausted at home.
