My outfit of the day was detective print! A quirky print to match todays adventure. A little chilly today so a broke out the fancy coat. Wish I could take the Roddy. One of the attractions I have been looking forward to most is the Museum of Death! It’s a true crime and macabre memorabilia museum with locations in Hollywood and New Orleans. Deven was sweet to accompany me but this was really an excursion for me. No photography allowed inside the museum so you will have to settle for these photos!

Day 4 – February 10th – New Orleans
Pouring rain discouraged our first outing to the French Quarter. We have been slowly chipping away at the boxes in our RV but today was a big push to get organized. After a hefty Walmart run for supplies we used the remainder of the day to rest and recharge. We finally hung our Llama painting. The RV is feeling cozier already.

Day 10 -February 16th – Mississippi -> Alabama
Drove 4 hours to arrive at Parnell Creek RV Park in Alabama. Discovered lack of cell service and wifi. Regretted everything. I introduced Deven to the 1967 version of the Producers. His Review: “I liked it.”

The Coin operated ancient machines brought me back to doing laundry in the dorms in college We are driving 4 hours to get to Meridian Mississippi to stay at a Walmart. All Walmarts look identical.

Day 8 – February 14th – New Orleans
Happy Valentines Day! We got all fancied up and ventured into the French Quarter for the last time. We look some photos to show off my dress. Deven and I stopped some shots and ran into another photographer who was walking around. He asked to take a couple of shots with me. He was very lovely and I felt like a real model. We gave him a card so hopefully those shots will see the light of day. We arrived early for our dinner reservation at G.W. Fins. The host recommended we get a drink across the street at a bar called French 75. It was a lovely 1920s themed…

Day 7 – February 13th – New Orleans
Happy Mardi Gras! We had another cool day today so I was excited for an opportunity to wear my vintage trousers. Thanks to my costume designer friend Sheila who hemmed them perfectly before we left! We drove into a neighborhood boarding the French Quarter and got a parking space really quickly. Many thanks to the parking fairy. We walked through so many neighborhoods and so many block parties. It was insane! So many amazing costumes and hoards of people! We meant to get a costume together but we never got around to it. Boy did I feel under dressed! We got a table at the famous Café du Monde and…
